Products Description

Our transformer core ground current monitoring system collects low-level and fault-related grounding current through a dedicated sensor. The monitor records values, provides alarms, and supports station communication according to the configured interface.

Technical Principle

Current sensors measure sheath circulating current and cable load current at grounding points. The monitoring unit compares phase balance, magnitude, and trend changes to identify abnormal grounding, sheath faults, or excessive induced current.

Product Features

The transformer core ground current monitoring system tracks both core and clamp ground-current behavior over time. The zero-flux sensor supports accurate low-current measurement. Low monitor power demand is suitable for continuous substation service. Live installation can reduce retrofit disruption when site procedures permit it.

Operating Conditions

The product shall be installed and operated within the ratings stated in the technical parameters. Key site requirements include: Operating temperature; Relative humidity; power supply.. Keep the installation area clean, adequately ventilated, free from corrosive gas and severe vibration, and provide the specified grounding, clearance, and power quality.
